PAVING AND CONCRETE FOR CITIES AND PUBLIC AGENCIES
Public work runs on specs, paperwork and accountability to the residents who use it every day. TMC brings asphalt, concrete, grading, drainage and striping to agencies across San Diego County, with a Class A general engineering license, DIR registration and one point of contact from bid to close-out.
Set Up For Public Works
TMC is registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR# 1000821897) and licensed as a Class A general engineering contractor (LIC# 1081020 A). Insurance and vendor paperwork are handled up front, and certified payroll is provided when the job requires it, so the file is complete before the first crew arrives and again at close-out.
Work That Keeps The Public Moving
Streets, lots and sidewalks still have to serve the public while we work on them. We phase the work section by section and build a day-by-day schedule before we start. Our crews hold flagger permits and Cal-OSHA 10 and 30 certifications, and every day starts with a safety meeting.
Sidewalks, Ramps And Drainage
Raised sidewalk panels, outdated curb ramps and clogged drainage are where public liability starts. Under California building code, a vertical change in a walking surface over a quarter inch needs treatment. We rebuild curb ramps with detectable warning surfaces to current specifications, correct grade where water ponds, and clean catch basins and storm drains under the same Class A license that covers the paving.
